everything you might like to know about me.
Who I Am
My Training & Education
I earned my Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton in 2017. Before that, I completed undergraduate training at the Gary Landreth Center for Play Therapy at the University of North Texas, Denton — an experience that shaped my understanding of child-centered, humanistic therapeutic work. These foundations continue to inform how I show up for clients of all ages today.
My Professional Experience
I’ve worked within multiple school-based agencies across Orange and Los Angeles County, providing individual, family, and parent counseling to children and adolescents. I’ve also worked with community mental health agencies and an intensive emotional disturbance stabilization program, collaborating closely with schools, regional centers, and community organizations to support family stability and emotional well-being.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe people don’t care what I know until they know that I care. Building rapport is at the heart of my work. I focus on being fully present, listening deeply, and honoring each client’s story. I create a space where you can be curious, expressive, and honest — and where healing can unfold at your own pace.
What Matters to Me
I care about creating a therapeutic experience that feels human, relational, and grounded. I show up authentically, with compassion and clarity, because therapy is a partnership. My intention is always to make you feel seen, supported, and capable as you move toward your goals.
A Space to Ask & Explore
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #129207) and a person who genuinely loves this work. I approach therapy with a blend of sincerity and playfulness — I’m expressive, sometimes silly, always warm, and deeply intentional with my words. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the moment we begin working together.
You’re always welcome to ask questions about my background, training, or therapeutic orientation. Understanding who you’re working with is an important part of feeling safe and confident in the process — and I’m here to support that openness every step of the way.
